Using our HTML code generator is pretty simple. The following steps detail how to use the generator.
Step 1: Select HTML Templates from the top menu

Step 2: Select the category of templates you would like to view. In this example we will select Electronics

Step 3: Choose the template that you would like to use and click on the link that reads “Click here to customize this template with your auction item details” and this will take you to the HTML generator where you can customize the template and enter in your auction details

Step 4: In the auction generator page, you should see the template you selected. Here you will enter in your auction details.
Item Title: (This is the title of your auction and will appear bold in the auction layout)
Brief Description of Item: (This is a brief description of the item, its condition, features and so on)
Detailed Description (Optional): (It is optional to enter in this information. This could be additional information such as shipping costs and your return policy)

Step 5: Enter in your image location. For example;
http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o26/digitalicing/auctiongen/posts/enteraddetails.gif
Be sure to include the http:// portion as this is the full path to the image file. You can host your images for free with several sites such as Photobucket.com

Step 6: Modify additional attributes of your auction listing.
Select Font: Chose from Arial, Georgia, Tahoma and Verdana fonts
Font Size: This is the font size for the text in your auction listing. The font size ranges from 11 pt (small) to 21 pt (large)
Header Color: This is the color of the header text (text that titles each section)
Text & Border Color: This is the color of the borders / section dividers as well as the main text color

Step 7: Click the “Generate Code” button

Step 8: You can preview your auction layout by clicking the link that reads “CLICK HERE TO PREVIEW YOUR AUCTION LAYOUT”

Step 9: Click the button that reads “Close This Window” to exit out of the auction layout preview page

Step 10: If you would like to make changes to the layout do so on the generator page. To preview your changes click the “Generate Code” button once again and you can preview your changes by clicking the link that reads “CLICK HERE TO PREVIEW YOUR AUCTION LAYOUT”
Step 11: Once satisfied with your auction listing you can copy and paste the HTML code from the generator page.
Right click in the text area and click “Select All” from the menu. This will highlight all the HTML code in the text area

Right click once again in the text area and click “Copy”. This will copy your HTML code for use in your auction listing.

Step 12: Paste your HTML code into your auction listing. In eBay for example this will be in the section where you describe the item you are selling. Make sure the HTML tab is selected. Paste your code and click the Preview link to see what your auction listing looks like.

DONE !
Your auction listing should show the template you selected with the color and font attributes you selected. ![]()
